Since our founding in 1996, CE Engineering has evolved to meet the needs of a global client base. In 2002, we became CE Engineering (International) Ltd. to reflect our expanding reach.
With effect from 01 August 2025 we have simplified our name to CE Engineering Ltd., aligning our brand with our streamlined global identity.
Our mission and values remain unchanged - delivering expert support for NonStop/Tandem systems across industries and ensuring that those systems continue running reliably throughout their operational life.
Please note that all other company details - including our ownership, team, contact information, and services—remain unchanged. We continue to provide the same high-quality support and expertise you have come to expect.
Should you have any questions regarding this change, please CONTACT US to discuss.

Demand for support and logistics for NS14000, NS14200, NS16000 and NS16200 systems has ceased in the last four years and consequently we have made the decision to discontinue our support services for these systems with immediate effect.
We continue, however, to support the NS1000-NS2400, NB50000-NB56000 range and the Tandem K2000 systems.
Should you have a requirement for space parts for NS14000-NS16200 components CONTACT US to discuss options.
As the manufacturer makes the final push to move customers to NonStop X, those not willing or not able to migrate are being left without support. CE Engineering can help. CONTACT US to discuss options for both hardware and software support for NS2300 and NS2400 systems.
The Tandem Himalaya K2000 range is proving to be seriously robust and continues to put newer generations of the NonStop family to shame. With a number of systems still giving great service, CE Engineering has, by customer request, extended support of K2000 systems until Q2 2029.
CE Engineering - Keeping Tandem systems operating for the full useable life of those systems as long as there is a need for those systems.

The early HPE NonStop X range is becoming mature with warranty expiring and end users looking to secure long term support options. We need to secure the hardware to provide that on-going support for the life of these systems.
Should you have an HPE NonStop X NS3 X1, HPE NonStop X NS7 X1 system or any components coming available for disposal, now or in the near future, please CONTACT US to discuss purchase/re-marketing options.
CE Engineering’s stock of remanufactured S-Series batteries (TPN: 124838 and TPN: 492555) is now low. With our last S-Series support contract customer due to decommission their system in Q3/2021, CE Engineering will have no requirement to restock.
We are still able to source remanufactured batteries (old chassis with new wiring loom, new connector and new cells installed) but our supplier requires a minimum order of ten batteries and have a lead time of three-four weeks. Consequently, we are reaching out to support partners and end users to determine future requirement for S-Series batteries.
If you have an S-Series system under contract and this system is likely to remain in production for an extended period, please contact us.
Over recent years customers using SWAN2 concentrators have reported a very high level of failures of SWAN2 battery/charger assembly (both TPN: 429419 and TPN: 542540). In response to this epidemic failure, CE Engineering has developed a replacement charger circuit supplied with an improved battery, and an alternative solution which deletes the battery completely - both solutions report correct SWAN2 status to the system. Available on an exchange or customer install basis, the replacement charger/battery kit is available for USD$450 and the battery delete kit for USD$250.

CE Engineering has received a number of requests for replacement 5194ACL (IBM3490 Cartridge compatible) tape drives. These tape drives, also known as 5196ACL (the two models share the same part number TPN: U13644 / 113644), were popular in the last decade as they offer media compatibility with IBM3480 and IBM3490 drives and we still currently have a number of these drives on customer's site under long term maintenance contract.
Given their age 5194/519ACL tape drives are now almost impossible to find in good working condition (they have become a little fragile) on the open market, however, CE Engineering has a large quantity of spare components and several complete spare drives tested and ready to ship. But, to ensure that we can service our maintenance contracts we need to keep control of our spares/drives and so we will not sell our spares stock, though we will lease complete drives provided that they are covered by a maintenance contract. Contact us to discuss lease/maintenance prices and service levels.
